Darth Bane vs. Starkiller

I say Bane

Meh! I gotta go with starkiller.

Bane.

I always thought they kind of over did Starkiller's power...

Just let me point out... before you people say "Oh, but he defeated Darth Vader!" , just let me point out that Vader was in a suit and is far weaker than his former self. If Starkiller fought the 'real' Darth Vader (Anakin), he would of been killed. And besides, Starkiller is only a Sith Apprentice, while Bane is a Sith Lord.

Indeed. But in the game, his force abilities are insanely amazing. They wouldn't be that great in real Star Wars...

Yeah probably so, but when he really gets pissed off....LOOK OUT!

lol. Just like my latest RPG character... he's an ex-Jedi, ex-Sith Mandalorian. His force skills are as high as possible. He specializes in force crush >=D

You know, the more that I think about it. There are alot of comparisons between Starkiller and Luke Skywalker.

Now if you'll remember, Starkiller's father was a powerful jedi, and was almost as powerful as Anakin/Darth Vader. They faced each other off and were quite a good match against another, to say the least; but of course Darth Vader won in the end.

And every knows from the books, comics, and of course the movie "Return of the Jedi" that Luke Skywalker eventually beat Anakin/Darth Vader, his own father; and Luke Skywalker did not become a Jedi until that happen. Remember the conversation between Luke and Yoda about him being a jedi, since there was no more training from Yoda, it went something like......

Luke: "So I am a Jedi, like my father."
Yoda: "Not yet! One thing remains...you must face Vader."



So this is where I'm drawing the conclusion, that Starkiller could be an even match for Bane - despite the fact that Bane is a Sith Lord. Anakin/Darth Vader was a Sith Lord too, and Luke defeated him when he lost control through his anger and fear about his sister Leia.

That's the main comparison between Luke and Starkiller, the fear and anger, they both show the same characteristics when it comes to that. So if Starkiller was pushed just the right way, just like Luke Skywallker was, I'll bet he could beat Bane.

And I always thought they modeled Starkiller's personality after a Luke Skywalker's personality anyway. Starkiller always reminded me of Luke Skywalker, only a darkside version.

Yeah, he does kind of remind me of him now hat you mention it...
